Some thoughts:

  • I think the biggest issues with the completed section of medians up by Russell St is how they looked? The new ones look like they might be shorter. Maybe some plants could be added.
  • The medians should improve safety and may improve traffic flow by reducing turning conflicts
  • Hopefully more trees can be planted along the road
  • Add a pedestrian refuge island at all bus stops and where the bike routes cross
  • I'm not sure why that random parking lane that's always empty is there

Currently there is almost 70' curb-curb.

It would be nice to see something like:

| Lane | Lane | Median | Lane | Lane |
  10.5' 10.5' 11' 10.5' 10.5'

and use the remaining 15-17 feet for bus stop amenities, boulevard trees, pedestrian space, or wider setbacks between sidewalks and traffic.
