not used to seeing this texture/color/don’t know if it’s cooked fully. i did not cook this, this is from a takeout order. am also not just worried about doneness but whether it’s normal for chicken to be this texture/color

invalid result

wondering where i could have gone wrong. if i have a runny nose, should i avoid swabbing my nose? did swabbing my tongue one hour after doing a gargle affect anything? does doing a neilmed’s sinus rinse 24 hours before the test affect anything? does having a runny nose create too much mucus? would going too far up the nose create an invalid? i have one more test left and cannot waste it so i wanna see if there’s anything i can improve on my end of things to prevent this from happening

how to do throat swab

i’ve seen the picture map but am still having trouble visualizing it on myself. wondering if someone has a video link to help? like should i be touching my tonsils? should i just be going to the roof of my mouth? should i be fully putting the swab down my throat?

shipping from sazen tea to u.s.

planning on ordering ~$120 worth of matcha and since i'm ordering in yen currency to save money, an additional $50 in shipping + fuel surcharge. when choosing between dhl and fedex, i am wondering what people's experiences have been both in the smoothness of delivery process and more importantly, the customs/tariffs/fees they were charged by either or both of the shipping services. i am also wondering if anyone has done the ddp option and if they found it to be worth it or overpriced. i basically want the cheapest option while still guaranteeing i get my products. also, if anyone has a sazen tea discount code please lmk.

mitigating lead exposure risks in an old apartment [MN]

found out lead paint hazards were found in the window well, sash, stop, and sill of two units in the apartment i will be renting. those two units (not mine) ended up having their windows replaced and remediated upon inspection. wondering if i can require lead testing on my unit as well (without being responsible for the cost), or if there’s anything i can do on my end as a tenant to prevent/limit how much lead i am exposed to as i live there

corroded cast iron sink/tub?

was told the black stains are just regular rust stains from the cast iron appliances. should they be of any worry in terms of chemical/toxin exposure and bacteria/mold? how would one go about cleaning/maintaining them? if the apartment doesn’t refinish it, would there be any functional/health consequences or is it purely cosmetic? are there any cheap diy options for quick fixes (just need it to last a year or so)

is this mold to be concerned about?

USA

touring an apartment bathroom which is old and also pretty hot/humid and was wondering if this would be an area of concern that would require more intense treatment than a simple bleach on the walls/ceilings near the shower/tun

hornig properties experiences? (specific properties listed)

I know the property management company is hit or miss, but was wondering if anyone had any experiences with the following in Uptown? Or if there are any specific property manager people within the company that you have good/bad experiences with. (Feel free to DM if you don't feel comfortable commenting publicly):

\- 2226 Garfield Ave. S

\- 2120 Aldrich Ave S

\- 1917 Colfax Ave. S

\- 1619 Lagoon Ave

\- 242 W Franklin Ave

\- 2009 Bryant Ave. S

\- 1325 West 27th St

\- 2300 Aldrich Ave. S

Thank you for anyone who reads through this. I have struggled to settle down in any apartment in the Uptown area of Minneapolis because despite loving the neighborhood (especially The Wedge), I have been done very dirty by too many landlords and property managers to count. I just want an affordable, secure place to rent this last time around 😭 Will also take any recommendations under $1300 for a place that offers shorter term leases
