Notebook LM for StudyA free NCLEX-RN study coach I built for a friend, now sharing it with everyone (no signup, no ▎ paywall)

I want to be upfront: I'm not a nurse, and I'm not in the medical field. I'm a disabled veteran, and the nurses who cared for me left a real mark on me. Their skill and patience carried me through some hard stretches, and that stayed with me.

I have a friend who's about to sit for the NCLEX, and I originally built this study coach just for him. It came together well enough that I wanted to share it, in case it helps anyone else walking the same path.

What it is: a free AI study coach inside Google's NotebookLM, grounded in free and open nursing sources (the OpenStax nursing textbooks, the NCSBN public RN test plan, and the ISMP safety lists). Because it's tied to those sources, it won't invent numbers. If a value isn't in the sources, it tells you so. The clinical facts in every practice item come from the loaded sources and can be checked against them. It quizzes you (including SATA and NGN unfolding cases), walks the reasoning behind each answer instead of just handing you a letter, and raises the difficulty as you improve.

To be clear: I have no financial stake in this. It's free, no signup (outside of google's), no paywall, nothing to buy, and it's released for public use. Everything in it is openly licensed or public.

A couple of honest notes: it's a study tool, not a nurse or a clinician. It won't give advice for a real patient, and it's built to point you toward real help if you're ever struggling. It uses practice-style items only, nothing from any real exam. There's a short orientation video inside that explains how to use it and what it can and can't do.

I hope it's useful, and I hope it helps a few more people become nurses. If you give it a try, I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback, what helps and what's missing. Good luck to everyone testing soon.
