Is moving to Belgium as a US citizen difficult?

Hello all, I was just wondering from all your experiences or knowledge if anyone knows how difficult the process for moving to Belgium with my bf(US citizen) will be or timelines.
little details:
I am eu citizen living in The Netherlands and working here for 6 years. For me it should be fairly easy(I’ve moved a few times) I will continue to work in Eindhoven(decent job with permanent contract) for some time while I get settled in the new apartment. Desired location north of Belgium(Lommel, Turnhout etc) I’ve already researched a bunch on what documents I need for me. So I think I’m solid on that end.
My main concern is the timeline and the difficulty for my bf to join me once I am in the our new home. We discussed maybe going the spouse relocation route however due to us being together only for one year it was decided to not go that way. Any similar situation advice would be appreciated. Thank you and have a great weekend.

Sleeping with partners

My partner and I are long distance however when he is here we sleep in the same bed. Of course being the light sleeper I am I wake several times during the night since he is human and moves in his sleep etc. Does anyone have tips for getting a good nights rest with a bed buddy for light sleepers?

We met and it was everything. But he’s gone home and I’m so incredibly sad

We met after 3ish months of talking. He came over and stayed with me for 3 wonderful, happy, contented weeks. But he went home on Thursday and I’m pretty distraught about it. I only now stopped crying every time I talked about him and the trip.
We still call and chat every day but now that I know what it feels like to have him in person, sitting next to me, hold my hand, etc. I’m devastated inside.
How do people do this for years? I can’t imagine saying hello and goodbye time after time.
He is everything I want in a partner. That’s why this distance hurts even more.
He made me some meals and froze it so I can have his cooking while he isn’t here. I can’t bring myself to eat them because then I won’t have anything else he made. How silly is that?
I just wanted to vent no need for advice. We planned already for a move for one or both of us next year. But it still feels so far away.
