I’m looking for a solid stylist in the Jackson area for a modern flow style (mid-length, sweeping back cleanly).

I need someone who excels at high-end salon scissor work, technical texturizing, and weight distribution, not clippers, fades, or a traditional barbershop vibe. I'm already familiar with Tricho, so I'm looking for other boutique salons or specific master stylists in the valley who can handle this kind of cut.

I’m looking for recommendations for some top-tier independent optical labs or boutiques that accept mail-in frames for custom lens cutting and tinting.

I live in a small mountain town without a local shop that does custom in-house lab work, so I’m fully prepared to ship my frames out wherever needed.

I have a pair of chunkier, avant-garde acetate frames (Kuboraum K61) and I want to put a custom, high-saturation gradient lens into them. Specifically, I am trying to replicate a smooth, deep dark teal-to-clear gradient (similar to the Vintage Frames Co. "056" tin.

My main priority is gradient smoothness and quality non-prescription lenses. I’ve seen some lower-end custom gradients that look stepped, uneven, or have distinct "layer lines" where the dye settled during the dipping process. I want a flawless, premium ombré transition that matches the quality of the frame.

Has anyone used a lab or boutique recently for custom dipping/matching that they swear by? Looking for places that work with end brands like Kuboraum, JMM etc.

Applied for the CSR and unfortunately got denied, wasn’t expecting that. Already have a United Mileage Plus Card with a $40k limit and a Freedom card with $11k and a Business Ink Preferred with $18k. My income is north of $100k. Should I try cancelling my Freedom card and reapplying? Any other workarounds?
