HOTD will never be able to double cross the fact that George RR Martin made Stannis the Mannis to acknowledge Aegon II as the king and Rhaenyra as the traitor.
Talking about the period before Rook's Rest. Tom was given plain green gowns to play a the King of The 7 Kingdoms. Martyn Lannister who was a squire or something got more regal and luxurious attire in GOT. And the second Aegon was getting least royal clothes among westerosi aristocrats.
Yet TGC managed to look majestic with his performance and natural charm. I still can't stop ranting about denying him his targ daddy side of keeping moustache and short hair. But ofcourse, St.Rhaenyra is vizzy's only child. Aegon ii shouldn't bee seen Targish. HOTD successfully denied us Sunfyre The Golden & his Green King in their prime. Sadly, HOTD will give the golden duo some screen time only after they both are burnt . Aegon ii shouldn't be seen riding Sunfyre his glory (as our Rhaneyra has the worst dragon in history).
Any tea on why Ratheesh B Poduval left "Oru Durooha Sahacharyathil" movie midway. Heard that he had a banger script for ODS and KuBo was dying to do this film.
However, as the shooting progressed, disagreements arose between Pub.Sword and the producers. KuBo was also getting demotivated by Nna than case kodu producer that Poduval ji is just playing with the producers and prolonging the shooting schedule under the pretense of perfection. (imo that Kuravila guy is bitter at poduval for doing SuSu Pranayakatha without his approval)
KuBo also was disappointed of Sureshante Pranayakatha bomb 💣. He was initially Poduval's humble student mode but soon began to express frustrations and suspicions.
But Commonsword was adamant about doing the script in his own way. Some scenes with Kubo and Chidambaram cost a lot of takes. Poduval ji was not satisfied with kubo's dialogue delivery and Chidambaram couldn't bring enough intensity for the role. So some scenes went about 20 takes.
Armiyas was the most layered and complex character in the movie and Chidambaram fits the physical description and appearance but he couldn't play the character to its perfection. Yet I saw some signature poduval scenes with kubo and armiyas were absent in the released movie🙄. Maybe because Poduval was absent in the editing phase., but that really affected the movie's flow.
Don't know what happened to Commonsword for him to leave his beloved script but heard that later on Martin Prakat edited and completed the movie.
I think that's why the second half went horrible for most of the audience. Although I liked the movie, Kubo's performance wasted like enthino vendi thilacha sambar.
The fact is that TB are desperate for Criston Cole to be Rhaenyra's simp which he clearly isn't, even in the show and in the book. Rhae stans/Alicent Haters are so obsessed with him that they project their nonsense "bitter guy" angle on Cole.
Criston rejected everything Rhaenyra wanted him to be YET BECAME THE EXACT SAME THING for his queen Alicent., a Secret Lover. He became the father figure to Alicent's kids. , which daemon never is to his own daughters. EVEN IN THE SHOW ⬇️ Whatever he says to Gwayne about AH was nothing less than worshipping his love. Rhaneyra never got that much respect and admiration from Criston. Like, Criston openly admitting his love for Alicent, calling her the light of his life. He felt ashamed on behalf of Aemond for what he did to his another boy, Aegon the king., as if Aemond is his own son and he feels ashamed of his upbringing . Criston's love is fuelled with passion and devotion. Both has uncontrollable attraction towards each other , although Criston has more affection in their bond. Him demanding for her favour and Alicent waiting for him to ask her favour...all while she was talking to her brother. She hides the kerchief in her chest like she hides the feelings for him. He hates Rhaenyra, Otto hates her, Aemond hates her. Are all of them rhae simps? lol. A man/women/any person can hate their exes if they are shitty. "SHE'S THE BEACON I FOLLOW"- Ser Criston about his love. I don't think anybody in HOTD had a line more romantic than this. I know Daemyra is most popular and conventional targ ship but this line sadly remain underrated even among TG.
