Remember the Wobbly Void? Potential adopter backed out and I learned more

He is six months old. Using pee pads but not litterbox trained and trying to walk. I have located an SPCA in which I can get a vet check and rabies Vax for under $100 so I can save more for a specialized vet appt later on to do his neuter and bloodwork. I would guess this is moderate to severe CH? I am on disability and I am able to often fundraise for my critters. Is that allowed here? If not no worries.

I want to rescue - any tips

I am an experienced exotic pet rescuer. This guy is clearly not exotic lol, but I have three male cats (able bodied) myself. I have experience with disabled dogs as my big guy is fully blind. I have experience fundraising for critters in my city (Toronto). This guy has never seen a vet so what would this look like and what tests would I want to have done? Any advice is wonderful.

Jam is a foster dad

I briefly had a group of giant danios in with Jam & after I moved them I thought I was going crazy seeing tiny things darting around the tank. So I guess Jam is a foster dad. Was not expecting that.

We adopted a senior shih tzu a couple months ago and she has changed our life. I saw this dog in our city - 12 and never spayed or vetted and I would like to help her find a home. Her name is Mia.

I tried but my eyesight is brutal & they are so teeny. It's ok if it's a subbby boy, I can keep him and go back for a female for my buddy next week when they have a bigger shipment & the owner is in. He usually helps me out but was not in today and there were less to choose from.

Of course it would be my favourite fish vs one of the few corals that survived my recent tank crash. But okay dude snack away.

The leather has been gifted to my roommate. SHAME BENTO. This wasn't YOUR Bento Box.

My boy Rollo is a 20 or so year old rescue. We were lucky enough to get him last year from my fiancee's neglectful uncle before he left the province.

During a routine nail trim he started panicking. Nothing apparently happened but he stopped using his leg so we took him to a highly recommended avian vet out of town.

We did some x-rays and she was shocked to find out he had somehow broken his femur. The vet is also suspicious that he may have MBD or another bone issue due to the fact that it seemed to break so easily.

His diet was poor when we got him. Her recommendation was to see if it heals naturally due to the fact that a surgical intervention could be risky and expensive at his age. It will likely heal a little shorter than the other leg. He always had a cute little waddle and I'm sure it will be even more pronounced. We have been instructed to keep him in a small carrier while he heals so he's been getting lots of treats and also special privileges because he can now go in a lot of areas he wasn't allowed before since he is obviously safe inside the carrier. Still, we can't wait until he can start to fly around again because we know he misses it.

Has anyone dealt with an injury like this later on in life? I would love to know how some elder birds have healed from chronic/newer injuries. That being said we are happy to be here because this seems like a wonderful space! Is anyone interested to see Rollo's xray? It was very interesting.
