If you ever feel like a relationship isn't working out, PLEASE, don't just ghost and block people.

I am not talking about situations where one's safety is at risk due to psychological and/or physical abuse, of course. I know it's probably a very common thing to vent about but still - when you realize that he/she is just not the right person for you for any reason (any is valid), at least be a decent person and let them know definitively why you don't want to talk to/see them anymore before you cut ties.

I've been on a receiving end of a particularly painful example of ghosting and blocking of any contact from the person that I had almost two months of great relationship with. Which ended so abruptly without me even having a chance to respond/say sorry for whatever I did wrong. It's been 2 years and I still haven't fully recovered from that experience and it brought me so much heartache that I woundn't wish this to my sworn enemy, it really is that bad. It has severely affected my ability to actually develop feelings for people, it was a literal heartbreak where my heart as a place where feelings should flourish is just not the same whole functioning thing anymore. Thank you for listening and I hope at least one person sees this post and it helps them to not totally ruin another person's mental state thinking ghosting/blocking is ok in literally ANY situation.

Beeing a neet, does anyone else just totally not understand the point of "adult life"?

Obviously I don't mean "adult life" as a "normal", reasonably well adjusted person with education, job, friends, career ambitions, plans for family etc. would understand it. Take me for example, I'm 30 y.o., no real education (and no desire to get one simply because nothing insterests me enough to expend much energy and limited finances on it), no stable income from a job (and no desire to get a job, any job, since I just don't understand a point of working minimum wage just for the sake of being able to afford food while still living with parents), no friends (since I don't feel the need to discuss pretty much anything and I don't care for like 95% of activities that normal people seem to enjoy), no significant other (since pretty much noone wants a person like me, although I have tried and even got dates, but none of the people I dated clicked with me and vise versa). I have zero career ambitions, and pretty much nothing in terms of artistic pursuits/expression. So nowadays I'm just existing in a limbo of sorts, without any desire to "be an adult". I have some money saved up from a few years I got a spark of passion for digital art (which since then has faded to nothing) and it should last me a few more years (just to afford food and basic necessities). I feel like many people in my situation would do some unreversable things, but at this point I'm running on sheer curiosity and confusion as to what the fuck this world and human society even is. I just don't feel like I'm a part of it, and almost everything seems pointless because how it's all set up. Maybe that's kinda the point and people like me are the perfect example of those who are on the negative side of natural selection?
