Live At Rijksmuseam Reaction (re: brought to my senses)

Hi everyone, just had to post because last night I finally watched the concert / documentary (if you could call it that)

first of all, it was so good, probably the best thing he has done since symphonicities and live in Berlin. Thats counting everything he’s done since 2010.

What I was left thinking about when I woke up in the morning was this… he played the intro to “I Was Brought To My Senses“ but then it mixed the live audio down while he monologued about something that I can’t remember. Did they actually play the song?

The ultimate question is this… Why does Sting not want us to hear the whole song live? he did the same thing on Live at Berlin funny enough.

Current Live Tour Question

Does anybody know how much variance there is from night to night? From what it looks like online it is pretty much the same sequenced setlist. I have only seen him once on his previous solo tour, and I was weighing if it was worth seeing him twice on this tour.

I know he improvises but it seems like I will probably be pretty much just seeing the same thing twice right?

Nylon String Guitar Help Please :)

Hi everyone, I play a Cordoba Classical (I forget which number, maybe a C7 or C9). I'm admittedly not at all a classical player, and more of a jazz and blues guy. I was interested in getting an electric acoustic nylon to expand my ability to perform and have people actually hear me if outdoors or in noisier rooms, or if playing with other people.

I'd looked into crossover nylon guitars as the body shape of a classical is a bit bulky, and yesterday I played some low end ibanez crossover model which was admittedly not preferrable to my cordoba.

The issue I found that bugged me is the crossover guitar not only had added the cutouts and body shape changes that I'm looking for, but also changed the neck to be more like a steel string acoustic or even electric guitar. I hated the feel of it.

Is there a such thing as a crossover / hybrid nylon string that has the neck width of a standard classical gutiar? I saw cordoba fusion 12 guitar perhaps might be like this but I haven't been able to see one in person to try.

It's kind of a niche guitar so I was imaging I may end up just sacrificing and buying a standard acoustic electric classical nylon guitar if I can't find any other options that fit those paremeters (crossover body contours / thinner or smaller body size / neck same as standard classical / has a preamp and/or can plug into an amp)

Also last thing... I'm trying to keep it under 1k if possible (I know I'm making it tough haha. If you have any that are a bit over 1k that's ok too I'll take all the recommendations I can get)

Thanks everyone :)

I took your guys advice and made the scout in DW colors, as well as picking a name and Baal for the scrolls due to his blood angel chapter. tons of firsts on this model, first major modeling for the scout body, first hazard stripes, first scroll texts, first blood splatter effects.

ill say the scrolls were as good as I could get I definitely need more practice!

I’m very happy with how it came out :) Hail Roberto!

The other day I posted a tease of a captain model that I've since finished other than the scrolls on the shoulder pad and shin. I've actually never written anything on them before and just made it a scroll color and left it. Anyone have any proud examples of this to share for me to get inspiration from? I have no idea how to figure out what to write honestly, or even if I can pull it off, although based on how the model came out I am feeling pretty confident I'll admit so if you guys have some good examples I bet I'll try it tonight or tomorrow.

Im nearly done with this model. it’s been taking me a bit longer than usual but I see the light at the end of the tunnel now :)

i may adjust the highlights on the metal slightly but I do like how it looks as of now

i had made a thread about this model as I put a dead scout on the base. I followed some of your suggestions and you guys were right… it came out so good. I had to get this captains eyes as good as possible to match the setting of the base and I’m satisfied. without context it looks like he’s judging you 😂
