Looking for advice for those with an EV and SUV tent setup that brings a fridge / freezer 20-30qt cooler in bear country.

Campsites bear storage locker may be too small for 30qt fridge with battery overnight or they may not be available. Most rules say to lock the cooler in the car but SUV tent typically connects to open hatch and run climate.

Looking for ideas but I think the only option is to detached the tent from the hatch at night and lock the fridge / freezer in the SUV? Either sleep in tent or suv.

I got the ICECO GO20 which worked well but ran into that dilemma. Luckily we had a second vehicle to lock it in. Looking to get a larger 30-40qt Bodega Cooler for 3-4 night trips which will be even harder to fit in bear box locker.

Great construction/durable, fast set-up and takedown, good insulation/hatch seal, darkened bedroom partition with windows/skylight. Lots of great features and creature comforts. 6-8 person tent.
