Just got this today, traded my Zoom G1X-Four for it. I’m not sure how I’m going to use this yet, but hopefully I’ll be able to find some way to synergize it with my Joyo Roll Boost, TS9, and Dolamo Vintage Distortion (which I’m planning to replace with a Boss DS1). Though any suggestions would be very helpful!! Currently its placement on my board is as follows: Guitar —> Dolamo Vintage Dist. —> TS9 —> BD-2 —> Roll Boost, all encased within a loop of my TC Sentry.

For most people, their first boss pedal is usually the infamous DS-1, but for me, it’s this RC-5! Of all the pedals that Boss has, this is my very first one. I got this thing as an upgrade from the Zoom G1X-Four since i already have a couple of analogs, so I would have no need for a multifx anymore since I now have a dedicated looper and drum + all of my other pedals. This little thing is fantastic and I could hear the jump in quality of the drum machine from the G1X-Four to the RC-5.
