Finally!

Finally!
Just some toilet thoughts early at work today. So take the average 9-5 salary worker, be it govt, MNC, SME whatever. Monday to Friday clock in, do your job, go home. End of the month, salary comes in, pay your bills, put some aside for savings the rest for the family/yourself.
But if you're a car guy, on top of the family hauling Alza or what not surely you would be dreaming of a GT-R, or a 911 GTS or to balance everything out an M5.
But let's be real, all those costs a bomb no thanks to our tax structure. Your average 9-5 salary can't afford them, unless you're a director level pulling in a net salary of RM20-25k+ a month. On average those cars would be at least RM5k/month with the loans.
So here I am thinking - how do the average salary worker can ever own their dream car?
Putting aside niche roles (Data Analysts, Oil and Gas engineers), my only guess is buying second hand to let the value drop and/or used, older recon cars; and even then probably selling them half-way through their lifespan to cut your losses early (I see 2024/2025 preowned cars with <20k on the clock).
A bit surprised there's another sub with the same topic as this. Competition is good (pun intended) but I don't see why need to have another one with no difference.
