How much do you generally spend on your gecko?
Hello! I finally have my parents agreeing that I can get a leopard gecko for myself and I'm a first time owner.
I wanted to know the overall cost of mantainace in Europe, so like in EUR.
I'm doing a budget overhaul to see how much I need to save up to get this little fella and I'd appreciate the help in understanding how much I need to save up!
Also aside from maintaince like food, terrarium stuff, etc, how much does it cost the vet usually? Like check ups on vets and how many times should I take them to the vet? I'll be getting an adult male gecko if it's of any help.
Also, is it okay if I feed them only Dubia and various worms? I have a huge phobia of insects but I can deal with insects that don't jump or fly, this is a huge deal breaker for me if I can't get their nutrients with just dubias and worms... So let me know if it's okay! I wouldn't want to make the gecko have health issues just because I fear insects.
And I'd love to hear tips in keeping the terrarium clean and which products of cleaning would be best suited if it's okay!
