the season 2 episode 8 ending!!! (?!?!)

oh my gosh, why was it so sad right at the end of the second season hahaha!!! i'd have been so bummed if i were into NTBTS as it was coming out & didn't know there was a movie i could watch to get more of matt & jay!! (note: i haven't seen ntbtstm yet!) it's so tonally dissonant with the rest of ntbts, to a point of it being funny, but it's also genuinely kind of heartbreaking to conclude on the two of them apart with no reconciliation in sight.

was anybody else really surprised by the end? what do you think might happen to resolve this in season 3 (which is, to my knowledge, in the works)?!?

apologies if this is a well-worn topic in the subreddit; i did search for any posts to do with it and didn't find anything more recent than like 7 years ago haha.

[TOMT] [ANIMATED SHORTS] [1990s-2010s] colorful, 3D-animated, educational shorts i was shown in first grade

hello! this is an exceptionally vague memory, so it'll be miraculous if it rings a bell for anybody, but i've been curious about what these were for years!

when i was in first grade (about 2011 or 2012) we'd sometimes have little stations we could go between, and one of them was watching videos. i remember they tended to be educational 3D animations in very eye-catching colors.

they were almost certainly older than 2010, or if they weren't then they were just cheaply made; the animation had the rudimentary ultra-smooth sort of texture which was common in early days of CGI. they looked similar to that "how to turn a sphere inside out" video or that show called "reboot."

i am not sure at all what the characters looked like. they were definitely non-human, and i feel like they were similarly bright colors. they may have been robots or something.

one specific thing i feel like i recall was one where they were explaining different types of 3D shapes. one of the characters says "rectangular prism" and another mishears "prism" as "prison" and freaks out about it before then being corrected. i believe they then show a triangular prism, and point out that you can look at the similarities and figure out what "prism" means.

i'm american so they were in english; i doubt the teachers would have gotten dubbed shorts. these shorts also almost certainly wouldn't have aired on TV. they were probably found online or from a teaching materials DVD or something.

if it helps, here are some things that they were visually similar to, from my recollection:
- bing & bong / tiny planets
- rolie polie olie
- wordworld
- miss spider's sunny patch friends

how are you guys hearing "ntbts" and "ntbtstm" in your mind when you read it?

i'm just curious. is it the letters ("en-tee-bee-tee-ess" and "en-tee-bee-tee-ess-tee-em")? does it get automatically elongated to what it stands for ("nirvanna the band the show" and "nirvanna the band the show the movie")? are you trying to pronounce it like a word?

personally my mind has been shoving vowels in to make it a pronounceable word, and it seems like "nit bits" or "nut butts" are what stuck most. for ntbtstm it's "nit bits tim" or "nut butts tim." i don't know who this tim guy is.

is there any way to watch the second season of the tv show right now?

hi! recently ntbts-curious individual here, about to start the viceland show!

i'm in the u.s. and it looks like amazon prime video (the only place hosting the tv show) only has the first season available to be bought, not the second. none of those streaming information aggregator sites say that it's available to watch anywhere, including in canada. is there somewhere i haven't looked? is it probably going to come back at some point? where is it?!?!

thanks for any help :)!
