Engineering but in the academe

Hey, did anyone try teaching path in countries like Australia, New Zealand, or Canada, but their educational qualification is in Engineering, but would like to transition to teaching? What pathway did you follow? Student does not work for me because I don’t have the funds.

Deciding between stable but limited growth to (a bit) higher salary but fast-paced/hectic and opportunity for growth

Which would you choose?

A permanent job in the govt that is stable and with benefits

Or

A remote job in a start up international company as contractor no deductions, but no benefits; salary is 4-7k higher, night shift, more hectic sched, boss/owner can sometimes be micromanaging, learning valuable skills
