Is Wallpaper Engine safe to use again?

I heard about a week ago that if you downloaded a wallpaper off of Wallpaper Engine it could deliver malware to your device. Is this issue fixed and is it safe to use and download freely?

9070 XT Crash

Opened up wallpaper engine after getting my brand new PC today, and got this message after it froze for about five seconds.

Went to settings > display > graphics > advanced settings > and there was no 9070XT option.

I’ve only ever used NVIDIA before this pc. No clue what to do.
