Is there a lid adapter to accommodate female threaded lid?

This is my 40oz homegirl, she’s been my ride or die with me for the past few years after I lost my first hydroflask in an airport (rippp). She’s very well loved as you can tell.

I saw this other bottle on sale for 50% when I was grocery shopping and I typically don’t give in to buying multiple bottles (especially when I have my one and she goes with me literally everywhere), but I really liked the lid. It’s a softer tip and the biggest pull for me was that I don’t have to unscrew the lid to be able to refill my water. It wasn’t until I got home though that I thought maybe I could switch lids onto my hydroflask and I could have the best of both worlds (but of course it’s never that easy). This one needs a female threaded connector but I’ve been having a hard time finding an adapter that would accommodate my new lid.

The closest thing I can find is this black plastic water tank replacement fitting, but I don’t think the actual hole is wide enough for the new lid. I have not seen any other adapters specifically made for water bottles that look like this, but it’s exactly what I need. Honestly, I could continue rocking my old lid, it’s fine, but if somehow I could make it work, I wouldn’t mind trying it out.

Does anyone know of an adapter that is similar or has anyone run across a similar issue? I love the size of my 40oz, the fact that she can fit in cupholders still, and she’s been loyal and good to me, but I just wanna switch up my lid game 🤣

Manifested a replacement at the next stop!

First pic: found this little guy and got him as a planter for my spider plant from arcThrift! $2.99

Second pic: he broke on our way to the next stop bc it collided with something else that we bought while we were driving

I thought, “man, wouldn’t it be crazy if I found another one at this next place?”

Third pic: found this little guy sitting by himself at Goodwill! ALSO $2.99

Fourth pic: now I have twins and I’ll still keep my first one and try to glue him back together

Fifth pic: happy to be together 🙂

THANK YOU THRIFT GODS 🙌🏼

Just started flip turns, but I’m scared of doing it in the shallow end!

Like the title says, I just started incorporating flip turns into my regimen when I’m doing laps. I love it! I feel so fluid and I love being able to keep going instead of stopping or just turning around at each wall.

However, I feel really timid to even attempt to flip turn in the shallow end. I used to do somersaults in the water when I was a kid all the time, so I know it’s just in my head, but does anyone have tips to help get around this? Do I just need to build my confidence and then try it? It’s probably a mental game, but it totally freaks me out!

[Contracts] Do I add a contract or do I have to start a whole new business?

I own my photography business, but I want to venture into graphic design consulting. My photog biz is mostly for side projects I decide to take on, but in my 9 to 5, I’ve worked in the marketing and graphic design sphere for quite a few years now.

I have an acquaintance that is asking for my help with updating a business card, flyer, some rudimentary redesigns that’s totally in my wheelhouse. Should I just add a contract that is more geared towards my graphic design skills or do I need to start a whole new business? I can’t imagine that I couldn’t just add a contract and then use my photog biz for the back end admin, especially since I would argue that they’re in the same field. However, I just want to make sure I’m jumping through all the right hoops? Plus, I might want to take on more graphic design if this is successful and I’m not sure if I should just start a different business entirely that’s more of an umbrella or if I could just start here for now?

First time portrait…I like it okay on its own but not when it’s next to my reference

I used to draw a lot as a kid but fell out of the habit as I got older. Trying to hone in my skills again and have always had a hard time with portraits. Watched a couple of tutorials online and this was my first attempt. My proportions feel off but I’m sure more practice I’ll get better 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also think the softer before version of my sketch was better than the one with more contrast? Do I just need to practice more or how to improve on portraits in general?

A $3 white whale I didn’t even know I was looking for 🤩

It needed a little hot glue and tidying up, but she’s a beaut! Fits perfectly in a corner of my office I needed something to hang 🥹

I keep challenging myself with fabric items even though folds are the death of me 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was watching Pro Tiki Con Tiki (s6 ep15) and thought, if I had to combine my name with a place, what would it be?

Mine would be Jessissippi 🤣

Maybe I’ve been looking at it for too long, but it doesn’t look like surface ripples from underwater. I want to tackle underneath a pool surface at some point, but would like to understand how to paint water better before I put it into practice.
