Hi all!

I’ve knit two swatches for the ivy top, once with 4 mm needles and then with 3.75 mm. Got 18 stitches with 4 mm (I washed it with cold water which might have caused some issues) and 17 with 3.75 mm.

For reference, I’m knitting with petit mandarin held double, which is not the suggested yarn BUUUUUT has been used before according to the project section on raverly.

Given the negative ease, I’d likely be knitting the smallest size and don’t want to recalculate for fear of messing up the math.

Before I knit a third swatch with 3.5 mm needles, I wanted to see if anyone had any advice or guidance. Thank you in advance 💗

Hi all! I’m visiting NY in July to get a tattoo at a local Brooklyn studio. I arrive v late on Thursday night and have Friday (after work hours) and Saturday to explore. Would love any recommendations of things to do. I love thrifting, a good store, all kinds of food, and nature.
