these are a couple segments from some lancer sessions that i recall + took notes on! the first was from the "solstice rain" module and the second was a rest-time action with another pc, john the artillerist, from a couple sessions back in our "no room for a wallflower" campaign. the character in both scenes is my pc, dani "ddos" dubois, who is a mechanic and a white witch + balor pilot!

i do some illustrations for romantasy novels and do some game development (coding + art), but it is a bit exhausting to do on top of having a completely unrelated full-time job.

so, i do some sketches like these to brush up on skills or just for myself! i love doing character interactions, and it's pretty refreshing to draw something that isn't particularly related to traditional medieval fantasy stuff (although those are fun too)!

i think my gm might see this here, but i'm saving this for later to share with the rest of the players when i can get something more fleshed out for the rest of them :]

also funny note, apparently matt mercer saw the first illustration and commented on it! a very surreal moment!

i had this sitting in my drafts for a couple months now, but decided to go ahead and finish it today :]

her name is dani "ddos" dubois, a former drake pilot and now white witch + balor pilot who is currently going through a "no room for a wallflower" campaign. her current mech, "fatal attraction" is in some previous post i made here :D

she's a total gearhead (as a mechanic) and consistently rolls extremely low for charisma (1s and 2s), so i think she's canonically socially inept. she has a gap in between her top teeth, a missing canine on her left top side, and a hole on her right ear! she's also the shortest in her team by 6 inches and the only woman on her team

i'm not really good at thinking of specific details about characters, so i'm not sure what else to say :'] but i really enjoy playing her and the game is very fun!

this is the second time i've drawn a mech and maybe the first time actually designing one! this was fun :]

i originally had a drake named "démineur" (or minesweeper), but ultimately decided to change licenses because we had a glass cannon in our team who happened to be our only melee

this is a white witch frame with some balor in there (white witch 2 & balor 3), and its name is "fatal attraction"! i based the color scheme loosely off of the white witch caterpillar/moth and a little bit of my favorite mech designs in 13 sentinels + armored core 6. the name is a more obscure allusion to "moth to a flame" analogy with the balor nanowhip/swarming/white witch name origin 😃

i was super excited to have my friends meet the reaper of the bailey and decided to make a silly animatic about it :]
