How to study DDCA? I can't focus or even start

I’m struggling to start studying DDCA. Whenever I sit down to study, I just can’t focus and end up procrastinating.

How do you guys study DDCA effectively? Where should I start, and what resources or methods helped you understand it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Anyone from the Aziznagar branch in NCC?

Hi! I'm a first-year student from the Aziznagar branch. Our college recently asked if anyone is interested in joining NCC, and I'm considering joining.

Could any seniors or current NCC cadets from the Aziznagar branch tell me how NCC works here?

How often is training and what are the usual timings? Is it manageable along with classes, assignments and exams? How physically demanding is it for a beginner with low stamina? Are there camps, attendance requirements, or a selection/physical test?

Also, for hostel students, how does transportation work for NCC sessions on Sundays/holidays? Does the college provide transport, or do we need to arrange and pay for it ourselves?

I haven't participated much in extracurricular activities before, and I want to start exploring and getting involved in college, so I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Would you recommend joining?

Thanks!

How do I start learning K-pop dance as a complete beginner?

Hi everyone! I recently became an adult, and I want to start learning dance, especially K-pop style. I'm a complete beginner and have no dance experience, so I'm not sure where to start.

Should I first learn basic dance techniques, rhythm, and body control, or should I start by learning simple K-pop choreographies? Any advice, YouTube channels, or beginner tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1st Year at KLH Aziz Nagar: How Do I Enjoy College and Join Clubs as a Beginner?

Hi everyone!

I'm a 1st year B.Tech CSE student at KLH Aziz Nagar.

Some seniors told me that the 1st year is the best time to enjoy college because later years become much busier with academics, projects, internships, and placements.

The thing is, I'm new and don't really know how to enjoy college. 😅

- What are some fun things to do at KLH besides classes?

- Are there any clubs or student communities that first-years can join?

- Can I join clubs even if I don't have any skills yet?

- How do I find out about clubs, events, workshops, hackathons, or cultural activities?

- Any advice for making the most of my first year?

I'd love to hear your suggestions, especially from KLH seniors. Thanks!

Title: Former BiPC student starting CSE — How do I figure out my interests, stay ahead, keep a 9+ GPA, and actually enjoy college?

Hi everyone,

I'm a first-year CSE student, but I come from a BiPC background, so programming and computer science are completely new to me.

The interesting thing is that whenever I read about different CSE careers—AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data science, software engineering, and others—they all seem exciting. The problem is that I don't know how to figure out what I'm genuinely interested in. Since I'm just starting college, I don't want to choose the wrong path too early.

I have a few questions:

1.How did you discover which area of CSE you actually enjoyed?

2.What should I do in my first year to stay ahead of my curriculum without getting overwhelmed?

3.How can I maintain a 9+ GPA while also learning extra skills that companies value?

4.Is it better to explore many fields first or focus on one from the beginning?

5.What mistakes do first-year CSE students usually make that I should avoid?

I also have another concern that's not about academics.

Our college has sports every evening. I want to play, but most of the people playing are seniors or boys from my class. I usually don't join because I'm afraid of asking, and if my friends don't go, I end up not going either. I don't want to spend my entire college life waiting for someone else before trying something.

How can I become more comfortable joining activities by myself and make the most of college instead of staying in my comfort zone?

I'd really appreciate advice from seniors or anyone who has been in a similar situation. Thank you!
