Walking the grasslands we came across this beauty today.

We started our rock hound journey looking at road gravel in the panhandle of Nebraska. Walking county roads. A lot of the rocks have sat for months and we forgot what we had found. Or didn’t even know what we had found for some of them. We examined some of them and I found this in the pile.

I found this guy walking the hills in South Dakota. I’m unsure what I’d call it. Perhaps a fortification prairie agate. Whatever it is, I felt it was a neat find.

Pretty little find in South Dakota.

I was rock hounding in north western Nebraska and found a little nodule about the size of a small lime. It had a little fortification window on it so I cut a little slab off it(sloppy) but the inside was pretty cool.

Went east of Fairburn and found some treasure. Nice palm sized Fairburn.
