Hi all! Do you see anything that the previous painter did not do that led to so much peeling after a year? This is in the Southern US, exposure to all the seasons. Paint is peeling on exterior walls and railings one year after painting. Homeowner is an elderly relative and unable to paint themselves. I'd like to know what prep work we can request be done next time so the paint lasts longer. Thanks!

This book is in my neighborhood little free library in Oakland. Printed in 1950 and has this neat die-cut label from a long gone book seller. There’s a few 1980s recipe clippings in there as well.
