I did a MAJOR surgery

Two days ago I woke up with my pilea main stem snapped & hanging at a 90 degree angle. When I say snapped I mean it was literally broken. My cats decided to be extra bad..

I immediately grabbed something to prop her up (paint brush) & I used small velcro strips to attach her against the paint brush. Almost as if I am grafting it with itself.

It has been two days & she doesn’t look bad????
Is there hope?? Do I keep the plant attached to the paint brush forever or will it heal itself eventually?

New Trellis

It’s from anthropology. I hope she loves it as much as I do!

Cuprea pink TC putting out mutated double leaf

It’s been a few days since the white side unfurled, I’m hoping the other side opens up

Please help!

First pic is from today. It just finished popping out a new leaf on the right a couple days ago but immediately started leaning. Now the albo leaf is leaning.

The second pic is about a month ago when the albo leaf just finished opening up. The two dying leaves were the originals from the TC.

None of my care has changed. Same light. Same water. Same humidity. It’s under a T5 lamp for 12 hours. I water it when dry, it’s damp, never fill the whole pot. It’s in a custom mix from a local nursery. It’s has bark & I added some perlite (last pic).

Leaning Leaves

My platinum albo just put out it’s 2nd leaf (green one) since being in TC. They are both leaning now. The albo leaf wasn’t leaning before the new growth. Is this normal or are they getting too much light & trying to hide?

Need some guidance

I’m fairly new to TC, this one is my 4th one. So far none have died on me. It was labeled as “Platinum Albo”.

The two green leaves were always sideways since they were in the bag & in the humidity dome. They’ve since started browning around the edges.

The new growth is an entire albo leaf which is cool but I am fearful that it may not collect enough light? I hear that around here regarding white leaves. It’s under a barrina light for 14 hours & it’s on week 9 after acclimation. I think everything is okay, although it looks a little rough. Any suggestions or tips regarding early TC such as this one?

Droopy leaves

It’s a new leaf & I haven’t changed anything. Usually this kind of droop means it wants water but it has water. Looks healthy still but worried this may be an issue later on.

Is it normal for young Alocasia to kill off older leaves?

I am fairly new to plants, including Alocasia. I have over 20 plants & only my Alocasias seem to have new growth & new death at the same time. They are in a good chunky mix. I water them with reverse osmosis water with gt foliage about once a week. They are under SANSI lights from 12-16 hrs a day. My humidity floats around 58-64 daily, temperature stays at 70F. The new leaves are always bigger & beautiful. I’ve always assumed new growth as an indicator that I’m doing things right but I’m thinking maybe not. Do younger alocasias always do this? Once matured does this cycle continue?

PS. All of my Alocasia I got as TC.

Why is this leaf getting sick?

It has new growth so I suspect that I am doing something right but the larger leaf is developing a brownish/gold spot & it wasn’t there a month ago. Is this part of a natural cycle or is this a warning sign?

ID New TC

Seller says it’s platinum albo, I wanted to double check here because I am fairly new to Alocasia. Thanks! (Took pics before putting into humidity dome)
