Wouldn’t there be another version of the Mum and kids. That are now. without their father. And in a lot worse position in what’s to come. And. Minus more neighbours.

Or am I missing something.

Loved it but also wanted more. But was expecting a mystery unexplained.

As his music gained international attention, so did the controversy, with media backlash, censorship, cancelled shows and a career shaped as much by resistance as success.

Through archival footage, rare performances and candid interviews, the film traces his evolution from early DIY recordings to internationally recognized releases, highlighting the creative partnerships, personal sacrifices and psychological toll behind the persona. The documentary also explores his failed attempts to tour the United States, including deportation, travel bans and financial ruin, moments that nearly ended his career altogether.

More than a portrait of shock music, the film examines why KidCrusher resonated so strongly with outsiders and underground communities worldwide. It is a story of defiance, survival and artistic obsession, charting how one Australian artist carved out his own lane by refusing to compromise, no matter the cost.
