Got the survey email the other day, check your emails and please fill it. There are so many good suggestions throughout the fest here on reddit. If more of us ask for the same things, maybe they'll eventually listen.

My suggestions this year included: more enforcement of no phones by ushers; add clip for no phone usage before movies; clearly mark Gen AI content on a film's website page (this is something Europe made mandatory, TIFF should do the same); bring back discounted bundles for Individual Members; add more theaters like Elgin or Winter Garden, there just aren't enough screenings in the first few days right now.
I also praised the volunteers, and the fact they're still printing physical tickets.

TIFF has this neat filter on their schedule page:
https://tiff.net/films?available
You can just add "general public" as a second filter, and easily browse through the days to see what still has available tickets.

My question is: does this filter take into account when tickets get posted for resale by users? Or is it a non-dynamic list that gets updated by TIFF when movies sell out or when new batches of tickets drop?
It's so inconvenient to have to keep searching every movie individually on TM. It would be so helpful if this list picked up when movies have even one resale ticket available.

I confirmed that:

• I can sell a ticket
  • TM forces face value (minus the $1.50 order fee)
  • You get paid the exact FV, which means any TM fees are paid by the new buyer

I have no idea why they're scheduling games at the same time with World Cup matches. Last time, the Halifax game a few days ago, was in between, which was fine. There's no chance I'll stop watching this England game.

Anyway. There was no match thread, so here's one.

Starting July 6, GO is adding a new train on the Kitchener line, that will stop in Guelph. It leaves Union in the morning to get to Guelph at 10 AM, and leaves Guelph in the evening towards Union. We will now have 3 weekend trains each way.
