Flashing HP ProDesk 400 G6 BIOS with CH341A – SOP16 clip wiring question
I want to flash the BIOS on my HP ProDesk 400 G6 to disable Secure Boot. The BIOS chip is a Winbond W25Q256JVFQ. I have a CH341A programmer and a SOP16 test clip with flat ribbon cable (pink wire = pin 1).
My question: How do I connect the SOP16 clip to the CH341A? Which pin on the header is pin 1? Do I need the 1.8V adapter or not? I'm running Linux (Arch) and will use flashrom.
