I had 3 jars of lightwave that I havent gotten around to. I innoculated 3/22 so its been almost 2 months. When I opened the top 2 of them have a slightly grey color on top. Should I bury them or is it worth trying to take the top layer off and s2b the rest of them? Did I wait too long or is it just contam because of contam? Thanks

I'm about to harvest a new shoebox of green cap ochra. These are bright white but from the same LC last time they were darker and I could see the green tint. Im pretty sure i did everything the same. Same coir and Im pretty sure it was the same brown rice but there is a small chance these were from popcorn. Im 90^% sure it was brown rice though. If it wasnt different spawn what would make them look that much different? Thanks
I've finally been having luck growing a d have enjoyed the new hobby. I plan to make my own agar soon but I had bought some online to check it out. is there a good site that has a some solid step by step for people new to agar instead of youtube and searching this and other subreddits and like shroomery and stuff? I had transfered some tiasue from a mushroom i had grown to a couple of these plates about a month ago just to see it. I was trying to figure out where I would cut out of to move to a new plate but I figure these are probably junk since they looked like contam? the videos I have watched looked like they weren't as much off colored and more white. Just kinda trying to figure out where to get some more info. thanks
