rewatching season 7 and i have some thoughts

first of all, holy shit, sending jesus home rather than anna in the heart foundation challenge was a ridiculous choice, not only was his look better than annas, his history of dresses were better than annas by miles, anna just skated through the challenges without being amazing and outstanding for far too long and she was boring, she made boring snoozefest nothing burger looks. she didnt take one risk in her episodes.

i also forgot how much of an absolute weapon mila was, especially at the beginning. she was so bitter and convinced people were praying on her downfall, she was just mean and had a superiority complex.

so they really just made a whole ableist stand against colostomy bags for no reason??

sam levinson is really just a bitter, nasty pos, like genuinely wtf was the point in that, what was the actual meaning of having a crippling disability be a joke and a punchline. fuck that guy.

rues arc

I feel like Rue's arc this season has been one of my least favourites unfortunately. The main arc of her working for Alamo isn't where my problem lies, it's with her whole "turning to god" arc. It feels sloppy, unearned, and completely out of the blue. I also don't like that we dont see any of the emotional acting that we got from seasons 1 and 2, specifically pertaining to her mental health struggles, not her drug struggles. In my opinion, I don't think we've seen anything with her struggles with OCD, bipolar, or depression. LMK if you agree or if I'm on my own.

Edit: I'm just going to add that I am atheist, but I love religious imagery. This feels unearned and clunky except for the Alamo being Pharoah metaphor. I'll see how it plays out but so far, not a fan.

supplements recs?

I am 19, diagnosed with hEDS last summer. Does anyone have recommendations for any kind of joint support supplements or for my skin? I get stress induced hives often, and my pain is all over all of my joints but I think my hips would be the most sensitive. Would also love reccommendations for compression gloves.
