I am currently in Tulum and the Sargassum is horrible. I was thinking of driving to playa del Carmen and catch a ferry. How easy can one go from the pier to the beach? Is it feasible by walking?
Hello everyone, my girlfriend and I will be arriving in Tulum on Monday. Initially we were not planning to rent a car but after some research and talking with some people in Oaxaca and Mexico City we decided to do it.
Do you have any recommendations of places to see that you can only do it using the car? Because we were planning to rent bikes we only planned an excursion to Chichen itza and are trying to figure out how to get the most of the car.
Besides the main cenotes are there other things worth driving to? As anyone driven/take the ferry to Cozumel, is it worth it? I also thought about bacalar but it seems to be a bit far away.
