How Many "Incidents" Are Too Many?

My Daughter started creche just over 4 months ago and so far she has had 4 bad bites from the same child in her room. I've been told he's also bitten every other child multiple times aswell and the staff said they are trying their best to keep him separated from the other babies. I didn't worry when she was first bitten as these things happen in creche all the time but the staff said he bites unprovoked and will just run up to another child and bite them so they have no time to anticipate he's going to bite.

Yesterday she was bitten for the 4th time by him and it was the worst one because he broke the skin and she was very distressed over it. When she sees him at drop off she actively tries to move away from him and I hate the thought of her being in there afraid of this boy.

I've asked the creche staff about him but they don't give any details away I guess for privacy reasons which is understandable, but all they say is that they are trying to stop him from biting the kids. I know he's still so young (21 months I think) but it really is a lot for my daughter to be dealing with. She's due to move to the next room soon but he's almost the same age as her so he'll be joining her soon!!!

I'm just wondering if anyone else had to deal with this and did the creche do anything to help because what they’re doing isn’t working but at the same time I don’t know what else they can really do?

What’s Wrong With My Nail?

In 2018 suddenly my big toe got itchy and infected after a trip to the local swimming pool. I was prescribed antibiotics and the infection went away but the nail stopped growing for about 2years.

Since 2020 I have had this problem where the nail will start to grow again, grow 25% of the way up, then stop. Another new nail will begin to grow underneath this one - again growing about 25% of the way up, then stop and yet again another one will begin to grow underneath. I end up with layers of nails which then become so thick that I have to file down some of the thickness.

The nails never grow enough to reach the tip of my toe. They always grow on top of each other rather than up.

I have been to 3 different podiatrists over the years. The first told me it was fungus which I had treatment for that made no difference.

The 2nd told me I was just wearing shoes that were too tight (I sized up for a year and it made no difference).

The 3rd told me he had never seen anything like this before but he thinks the bone in my foot may be damaged from the 2018 infection and I would need an operation to have the bone filed down as the bone is sticking up and causing the nail to grow to a certain point, then push off the bone and stop growing. I don’t know if this is true as I feel no pain from my toe and I’m not sure I want to have an operation for this.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? Thanks
