what to invest in as a 20yo beginner?

i have around $21k saved, $4k invested in individual stocks and $5k in VAS and IVV ETFs. I want to pick 1 or 2 more ETFs to add to my portfolio (long term) and have around $5k to invest atm. Do you have any recommendations of what ETF I should pick to invest that 5k in?

With Trump’s quantum computing executive orders, which stocks are still worth buying at this point?

IBM, INFQ, QBTS, RGTI and QUBT have all been moving since the announcement. I’m trying to figure out which 2-3 are the best plays and over what timeframe. My main concern is whether IBM is already too expensive to enter now or if there’s still room to run. And for the smaller names like QBTS and RGTI, are they worth the risk or too speculative?

Which ones are you most bullish on and are you thinking short term swing or longer hold?

Is it too late to jump into SanDisk?

Feel like I missed the boat on a few AI/semiconductor names. SanDisk, Micron, NVIDIA, and now wondering about Nebius too. Has that ship already sailed, or is there still room to get in?

Would love to hear what people think. Are you adding more, holding, or staying out at these levels?

20yo, $1000 to invest in a single stock, looking for input on my shortlist

I'm 20 and have js started investing, and already invest long term through ETFs, but I want to put $1000 AUD into one individual stock to start learning how to actually evaluate companies rather than just buying the index.

I'm looking at a few options and trying to narrow it down. I'm leaning towards sectors like tech open to others too.

What would you look at first when comparing a few candidates like this? Is there a framework you'd use to decide between them, or red flags that would rule one out straight away?
