Parking?

Hi everyone! I recently bought a paddle board and have been so excited to get out on the water. I’m new-ish to the area but my boyfriend is a long time local.

We checked out both Scott’s Flat and Rollins and were shocked at the price of the day use parking. $22 seems almost ridiculous, especially for a Monday at 2 pm. I am more than happy to pay for parking and help support the maintenance and environment, but this seems steep.

I guess my question is- am I missing something? Are there any discounts for locals vs tourists? Are there people who go every day after work and pay over $100 a week just to park?

Also open to recommendations for any lowkey, low traffic places with maybe a bit cheaper parking.

Got my first box ever around 2 months ago… here are my hits so far!!

Everything pulled out of various Chrome 2026 value boxes (I think 4 total?) and Sadness auto pulled out of a neon value box!

Birthday Dinner Recs Needed

Hi everyone! I know this has been asked before so many times in the sub, but I wanted to ask and add some specifics to see if I can get any good recommendations.

I'll be in Anaheim in a couple weekends for my birthday, and I am looking for a restaurant for my boyfriend and I on a Sunday night. I don't mind making reservations as long as they are available, and don't mind traveling within about a 30 minute radius of Disneyland (maybe even farther if it's REALLY good).

To add some specifics, I'm looking mostly at italian/seafood type restaurants. My boyfriend is pescatarian and I don't eat a lot of meat anyways. I would like to go somewhere that I can dress up (nothing too crazy, but don't want to feel out of place wearing a dress and heels) and we can get out the door around $150 or less keeping in mind that we don't eat meat or really drink.

So far I've looked at Maccheroni Republic, Anaheim White House, and the Wooden Pearl. If anyone has any good ideas I am all ears!
