Hello, I’m going to Porto soon and have been struggling to find a vegan burger option at restaurants. I am also wondering if there are any restaurants or takeaway that has vegan options that is open until 11pm or later. Thank you. Any restaurant recommendations will be appreciated!
I keep seeing kala namak it in a lot of tofu scramble and chickpea omelette recipes. But i’m not sure if i should buy it if i dislike the normal smell and eggy taste of real eggs. Will it actually enhance the flavour or is it only for people who enjoyed the taste of real eggs? Does it also smell the kitchen up, or linger?
Ocado sent me a 15% off voucher does anyone have suggestions on what products to buy and stock up on that you can’t get in Sainsbury’s or such?
Does anyone have any good lesser known food blog recommendations? Open to tiktok/instagram accounts too. Metric measurements would be a bonus.
I’ve been using a lot of the popular ones like Rainbowplantlife, Vegan Richa, Lazycatkitchen, Noracooks and so on but still would like some more options and variety!
Side note - Recently discovered Le Cocque and his recipes are truly amazing i do recommend checking it however it is a subscription. But made some amazing meals with tofu and beans. Often uses a lot of the same ingredients but in different variations which means less waste too! Just hoping for more finds like this.
I apologise if this kind of post isn’t allowed but I’ve been vegetarian most of my life (since i was 8) just because i’ve loved animals and feel disgusting for eating meat but i do still eat dairy and am now trying to reduce the amount, but I’ve never actually looked into the uk dairy farming practices as i’m afraid to and no one around me or social media has exposed me to specially the uk dairy farming practices, so if anyone could give me more information without showing me graphic content to really expose me to possibly cruelty and information regarding uk dairy farms so i have less desire to consume i truly would appreciate it.
