Bismuth vs RV9

Shouldn't it be possible to rebuild Bismuth with a few RV9 now? I think I'm going to try this.

EDIT: Contacted Reason Studios about this. Maybe there is a way to communicate with the fader.

Because my last post was greatly misunderstood I'll try a different approach this time.

Because there is no snapshot function built into Reasons Mixer and this type of function will surely not arrive anytime soon: would it be possible to capture the output of Reasons Protocols that are being used for some controllers to be saved in a third party program (like a man-in-the-middle approach) to save these information inside the program as a snapshot? It should be possible in my mind. As far as I know you can send these saved values back to Reason to set the Mixer Knobs & Faders to the saved values.

This would be a very light weight option, instead of saving multiple rns-versions. I'm not here to get the comments about "just save another version".

If someone here knows the technical side of this: can you tell me if this is possible to do? It would also be a part of the Mixer-Controller that I'm researching.

(The controller I suggested a few days ago is currently being built as a schematic).

Greetings.

Until Reason Studios implement Snapshots for the Mixer: any idea how we could snapshot the mixer via midi? If Reason is sending out values for controllers, we should be capable of capturing these informations in a software, store them as "Snapshots" and push the values back via the protocol into Reason. Anyone capable of something like it or does it already exist?

I thought we came to the conclusion that the Loudness War has ended? Why do people think it's still a sign for a good production to smash every bit of your dynamics?

I spent a few hours recreating one of my all time favorites: Aphex Twin - Vordhosbn. As if sound design and polyrhythmic/dotted patterns weren’t already complex enough to figure out and work with, I decided to try remixing it as well.

Honestly, I’m not sure I have the brainpower to pull this off on my own. If anyone wants to give it a try, let me know in the comments.

My project size is about 200mb right now, the self-contained samples are 15mb. How do i delete unused audio-files if i can't find them?

Browser is just being awesome again. Just one folder is showing up. Did i miss a button or something, or is it just happening at random that the indexing is failing?

Dear Reason Studios, please implement a manuel Refresh-Button.
