Print settings: 200°C nozzle, 75°C bed, 0.2mm layers, 3 wall loops, 110% line width, PA 0.02, flow ratio 0.98, fan 100% from layer 1, outer wall speed 120mm/s.
Result: segments bind when sliding and feel weak/flex when extended. Surface also has visible ribbing.
Recently I was driving and started smelling gas from the cabin. By the time I reached my destination, the car fully shut off and all the warning lights came on. I restarted it and the lights went away, and I made it the rest of the way. When I parked, I noticed liquid oozing out from underneath the driver’s side (see video). I felt the liquid — it had a gas smell to it. I sent a video to a couple mechanics and they said it’s either an A/C line or a gas line leak.
Also, when I had the A/C on, I noticed a rough idle that felt off. I drove the last 25-30km home with the AC off, staying under 100km/h. Curious what this community thinks it could be.
Hey guys. I recently went from a first gen RAV4, 1998, to a 1999 3rd gen 4Runner. I’ve tried sleeping in the back of the 4Runner and it’s pretty uncomfortable — I’m 6 foot 4, and honestly I was more comfortable stretched out in the little RAV4.
The problem is the way the 4Runner seats fold: the backs sit proud of the cargo floor instead of dropping flush, so you’re never on one flat plane. In the RAV4 the rear seats folded down basically level and I had a real flat bed.
I’m looking for ways to replicate that flat-bed setup using the seats themselves. Is there a way to modify the rear seats so they fold down flush like a RAV4? I don’t mind re-engineering or fabricating something new to make it happen — I just don’t want to sleep on an uneven floor. The one catch: I’d want it to stay a quick change so I can still daily drive it.
Has anyone done a seat mod, re-hinge, custom setup like this? Would love photos or details.
First pic for attention
I recently got 4runner not too long ago. I got it on a lift for the first time today to look at it myself. Additionally,recently I got a car wash which took a little bit of Rust proofing off the frame. I have attached some of the pics that I took. Do you think that I’m in a bad position or I’ll be all all right and it’s just a bunch of surface rust.
Also, I would appreciate any suggestions a on how you guys would clean that little hole that is showing up in the rear wheel wells. I hope it’s not rotting from inside out.
