crutches rubbing right into my HS :(

hello everyone! i recently broke my ankle in a few spots and now have to use crutches to get around as i am not supposed to have any weight on the injured ankle :( my problem rn though is that the crutches sit right under my armpits and dig into my flares/scars!! my step mom was nice enlightenment to wrap gauze and tape around the tops to make it a little softer but i still get little jolts of pain when im trying to use the crutches and they hit a wound 😅 any advice? thank you for reading if you did!

how to help a friend through alcoholism?

hello everyone, as my title says i’m looking for advice in ways to help a friend through her alcoholism and wanted to hear from real people as opposed to just googling it. we are both 21f but she has admitted very honestly she knows she is an alcoholic already and has not gone a day without drinking in at least 2 years. of course before turing 21 she had to have others source it for her but since turning ages, it’s been significantly easier for her. she’s moved out on her own and there’s a liquor store within walking distance of her place. so cards are making it feel harder right now for her. she recognizes she has a problem and says she wants to get better. she has prioritized drinking over groceries and as of recently has gotten to a point where i have to give her directions in the car back home because she has drank so much. please be kind if you do respond and i appreciate anyone reading. thanks :)

progress on avsola infusions!

hello all! i was more of a consistent poster a few months ago but i really just want to show the improvements for me personally in my biggest problems areas! i wish i could relay to people in my life how big of an improvement this is for me but they wouldn’t understand. i am a 21 year old girl who felt so ashamed and disgusting for these things on my body while open because they were just so hard to look at 💔 it’s still a long road but seeing this amount of only scars in 1-2 months makes me have such a more positive outlook. i know it’s not as easy for everyone and the struggles with this condition will always be there but i feel euphoric. thank you for reading if you did :”)
