Mouse droppings in a bag of knitting I found in the garage

I found a bag of knitting my mom had in her garage as we were cleaning it out.
We found some mouse droppings in there!
She has passed away and I want to keep the baby items she had knit.
The items are likely made of wool that I fear will shrink if I wash in the hottest water.
I put the items in a new garbage bag, and would like to wash them so I don't have to throw them out.
Is this a pipe dream?
I have no idea if the amount of droppings matters?
There does not seem to be any urine, but, when we dumped the bag out onto a sheet to look through everything and we got to the bottom - we noticed about 10 droppings that we are sure were mouse droppings.
Not the smartest of moments for both me and my sibling as we also SNIFFED deeply a few of the items as we worked through the bag before we saw the mouse droppings, sort of hoping to catch a whiff of her (we are newly without her!)
We have both changed clothes which we will wash on the hottest cycle, showered etc... but now... what the heck can I possibly do with the baby items ? Looking for advice from those more in the know!

When parking in our garage, the front of the vehicle very lightly made contact with our stairs. The next time we drove it the cruise control wasn't working and we noticed two different messages on our dashboard one saying that the radar cruise control was unavailable and the second one says the pre-collision system is unavailable and to clean the sensor. At our first stop, we got out to wipe the sensor and realized that the front of the Toyota emblem was cracked. We could care less about the appearance, but we do worry about the pre-collision system and we do use the cruise control whenever we're driving on the highway.

I'm looking up online it looks like it's a reasonably inexpensive item to purchase, I'm looking for thoughts from anybody that has some knowledge about this.

It looks like the transparent plastic emblem is to keep the millimeter wave radar sensor clean/dry and working, so if we replace it ourselves, the question is, will the sensor start working again once fully covered?

Or is this one of those, do not try and do anything yourself make sure you take it in to an actual mechanic?

We got our Census card in the mail today, logged into the system expecting it to be a quick few mins... The questions! some of them I personally felt were a bit too odd/personal.
We ended up quitting about 80% in and will go back in and look at it to finish in a few days, but, to say we both felt like we were being asked questions that were too personal is understating it. All my medical info I am certain is avail to the gov't with AB Health.
Rate how I can see with or without glasses on.
Questions about my hearing. Three different questions pretty much one after the other asking me what languages I speak. I answered it honestly the first time, wondered why it got asked pretty much 3 slightly different ways. This Census is.... offputting for lack of a better word. No way to opt out of some of the questions. Curious if it is just us or if others felt a similar way?
