I've recently gotten into a relationship with someone who has DID, and I was lucky enough for them to confide in me about parts of it but would like to hear more from those who have it/partners of those who do(so sorry if I sound ignorant or rude, not my intention) so I can help my partner as best I can.

I know to ask and learn about how it affects them personally, but I also just want to do my best to learn so any words or advice or help would be amazing. Thank you all!!! C:

This is worse than when my dad passed and I genuinely don't know how to sort through these feelings without her, and I don't really have others to turn to about this but I'm trying to respect her wishes of not reaching out even though feels like it's killing me. Trying so hard to stray from things I know I wanna do to myself/ bringing harm to myself and it's so fucking hard

Just trying to survive I guess, if anyone wants to talk that would be nice, this feeling of remembering what being alone is like is just so horrible
