Dual mount vs two single monitor arms, which way should I go?

Hey all, first-time poster here looking for some guidance on monitor setups.

I've been running a dual monitor stand from Amazon for a while, but one of the arms has started drooping and I can't get the screens level anymore. Time for an upgrade, but I've got a few questions before I decide:

Would I be better off with two separate single stands instead of one dual mount? Seems like alignment would be easier.

Are gas spring arms actually worth the extra cost? And can they be mounted somewhat discreetly? My desk sits flush against a wall and isn't super deep. And if you were to recommend me brands what would it be? Ergotron? Desky? Herman Miller? Let me know what you guys think of these and what you’re experiences are.

Leaning toward desk-mounted since I want the flexibility. Any recommendations appreciated!

Did anyone actually beat Soviet Strike back in the day without cheats?

I started playing through the entire Strike series recently and I'm finally on the last level of Soviet Strike. Nothing has prepared me for how hard this one gets. I played this back then on the original PSX in 1996 and then Nuclear Strike in 1997, and back then it was tough as nails. Fast forward to today and it's still hard as nails.

Fuel and armor limits I can live with. It's that the enemies aren't just standing around all the time anymore. They patrol, and they sit there waiting to ambush you if you stray too far into a terrorist compound. Most of my deaths come from something I never saw coming. I'm starting to think the only way through this whole game without using save states is memorizing every single map and radar position before I even lift off, or I just watch some YouTuber do it with walkthroughs and not die.

I used to borrow this off a friend a lot when I was a kid and I never got anywhere with it. I thought that was just me being a kid at the time. Apparently not.

Did you guys get to finish this game at all back in the 90s? With no cheat codes or anything? Did you rely on walkthroughs? Because man, even playing this through an emulator is still very hard.
