live in Boise Idaho. The population of the whole valley here is close to 500,000 folks - so not a small city. We have dealerships for two BMW dealers, Porsche, Mercedes, Land Rover, Two Alfa Romeo dealers but no Mini dealer or service. I was even told that the two BMW dealers were denied adding a Mini showroom because Mini didn’t like the esthetics of the showroom — :(

Given that, I have a 2023 Mini 2 Door SE Electric. I love it. But it needs scheduled service in November - at least the display says that every time I turn on the car.

So if there is no authorized service in my area, what are my options?

We have two or three foreign/European car shops here that service Porsche, Maserati, and BMWs….. Can they do a factory service and at least clear the message out?

I officially RE’d Jan 30…

My intent was to travel, do hobbies I’ve postponed and do things I’ve neglected. Typical stuff.

But the one thing I have discovered now that I answer to no one is I can spend 100% of my energy on me, myself, and I.

Today I am feeling lethargic, tired. I got up at 5am and couldn’t sleep. I’m exhausted. 4 months ago I would just suck it up, man up, put on my big boy undies and go to work and give it my all.

Today I realized if I felt tired I probably shouldn’t have gone in to work to begin with. It’s my body, not corporate’s. Even if I’m not sick and just tired because I didn’t sleep well should have been my reason all along to say: “you’re on your own today buddy”
