I haven't played Ultra Rumble in over a week and I'm not returning just for Twice but I wanna know the overall consensus. Is he broken, needs buffs, nerfs..?
After 4 seasons or so of Nagant running the game and you see multiple every lobby, she got nerfed hard and now no one plays her. Like it's been a couple of long sessions since I've seen a Nagant and whenever I do, they aren't good Nagants at that. Even though I do agree Nagant's nerfs were way too much, it's insane how fast her player count dropped the moment she wasn't a character you can get free wins with anymore.
But characters everybody had off their radars for seasons got good buffs (Tech Bakugo and Strike Dabi) and everybody is now jumping on them and you see multiple of them in every lobby. I was extremely excited for Tech Bakugo releasing and I rolled him day 1 but after a couple of days, I saw no one playing him which lwk made me feel lonely 😭✌🏾 but he got good buffs (most he didn't need) and EVERYONE IS PLAYING HIM NOW.
It's insane how people only acknowledge and play a character when they're overpowered then quickly drop them and jump on the next meta train the moment that same character isn't as effective as before and vice versa.
Tech Bakugo and Strike Dabi, Strike Deku, and Assault Shiggy are my biggest examples as to why they shouldn't giga buff characters that are mostly perfectly fine like Assault Overhaul. Because the moment they get good buffs, everybody will pretend they always cared about them and play them now only because they're overpowered

I wanted to replace my Switch's rails so I bought a pack with the rails and every necessary tool but after I screwed out one, the screwdriver never worked for anything else? So I asked around and other people said these specific screwdrivers are really really cheap and terrible. Is that true? If so, should I just buy different screwdrivers? If so too, what should I buy that are good and still affordable that will work with the entire process of replacing the Switch rails?
I really want to revive my old Switch and this entire failure is discouraging but I don't want to give up on my Switch. Pls help
I've been a main of Assault Shig since he came out back in Season 4. He's one of the first characters I've considered a main. My favorite part about him were his combos but with his recent reworks, they completely changed his character. Now, he isn't bad now because he has many strengths thanks to the buffs they gave him as a compromise but the whole situation of how they went about nerfing him still makes me angry
Assault Shig was pretty much overlooked for years until the devs randomly decided to nerf him by increasing his DP and suddenly increased the hitstun. When they reverted the nerfs, they didn't revert the hitstun so his combos were way easier and even combos that weren't possible before like Gamma (Full) > Beta > Gamma (Full) > Beta (just an example) was suddenly made possible without the need of blue cards or acceleration which made him extremely brainless for an entire season or so.
And since he was brainless, people started larping by hopping on the Assault Shig train because he was pretty much busted now. After around 1 or even 2 years of people overlooking him, saying he was struggling in the current meta, now everyone wants to hop on????? That season was the only time I saw so many eyes on Assault Shiggy, he was common in lobbies so much so that I saw more Assaults than Tech Shiggys and EVERYONE was begging for nerfs.
So then the devs nerfed him again, they turned him into a mindless, clunky, AOE spamming monster with no depth to him whatsoever. Now I'm not saying that Catastrophe's combos were ever fair because it weren't and did a lot of damage but after 2 years of being practically unchanged outside of good micro-buffs and rarely seen in lobbies because "he's so hard to play in the current meta!" or whatever to suddenly be soft-meta for a whole season and reworked to shit will forever make me angry.
It goes to show that the meta slave stuff people are always claiming might actually be true. Nobody cares about a character until they're suddenly braindead overpowered. Literally everyone that was larping Assault Shiggy that season quickly hopped off and went to the next meta character the moment he got hit with those nerfs, it's insane. I genuinely think this community needs players that are actually loyal to their characters bro.
Even after the nerfs I'm still playing Catastrophe and kicking ass, getting used to this new playstyle for him because I think it's extremely lame to drop a character after nerfs. It also helps that they gave him really good buffs at the same time like his alpha goes up surfaces now, and his alpha rock dealing good damage + the range buff. It's like nobody is willing to actually adjust to a character's nerfs and act like everything's doomed by switching over to another character.
Even though I'm still a catastrophe main, that doesn't mean I'm not angry deep down. Not at the nerfs, but how the community treated Assault Shiggy like he was a nobody until he was braindead for a season JUST to go back to pretending he doesn't exist after he's nerfed.

Like if people played a character more at their peak, who'd be problematic and possibly meta? Btw, just cuz a character is used a lot doesnt automatically mean they're meta like Tech Mirio imo. Like more often than not, most Tech Mirios are bad so he kind of flies under the radar with how broken he actually is in the hands of anyone that knows how to use him properly rather than counter spam

I have every character in mhur EXCEPT Purple Nejire and I pretty much accepted that I wasn't gonna get her through the gacha so I was planning to get her on the character ticket but NOPE! ByKing thought giving away old characters for free was too generous so we're probably going to have to wait another year for them to continue the Character/Battle Style Tickets again
This might've been for the best because Strike Kiri being available for free without any nerfs would be a nightmare lmao
But no matter your stance on Strike Kiri being free, them stopping the character ticket releases after only like, 2 or 3 seasons of characters being released on them again in a year is actually ridiculous.
