Work in progress: neighborhood project

Hello everyone,

I'd like to share my current project on Pokopia: building a neighborhood.

My goal is to create a cohesive and enjoyable area to explore, with houses, public spaces, decorations, and pathways that blend together naturally. I'm aiming for a realistic atmosphere while keeping the layout practical and well-organized.

The project is still a work in progress, but I'd be happy to hear your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks!

An idea for a future update: allow players to craft underwater without being automatically brought back to the surface after a few seconds.

An idea for a future update: allow players to craft underwater without being automatically brought back to the surface after a few seconds.

At the moment, building or crafting while submerged can feel restrictive because the character is forced back to the surface after a short period of time. It would be great if players could remain underwater while using the crafting menu, allowing them to design, decorate, and construct aquatic areas more comfortably.

This feature would make underwater building projects smoother and more immersive, especially for players creating docks, canals, underwater structures, or decorative water-themed environments. An optional stamina, oxygen, or equipment requirement could also be used to keep the mechanic balanced while still providing greater freedom for creative gameplay.

Roof windows trick: they look open if you place them backwards

If you place roof windows facing the opposite direction, they create the illusion that they're actually open. It adds a surprising amount of depth and makes rooftops look much more dynamic.

Here's an example of how it looks in-game. What do you think? Any other building tricks you've found that create interesting visual effects?

Salut !
