thinking of working on politics of grief for my MA thesis

basically, how society decides whose lives and suffering are considered worthy of mourning and whose are overlooked or treated as less significant. I’m thinking of exploring this through literature + some fieldwork on how readers respond to representations of marginalised grief.

do you think this is worth pursuing as a dissertation topic? for my bachelors i had worked on gendered existentialism in the stranger and the bell jar.

did healthy diet ruin my cycle

hello everyone! I am 22 and was diagnosed with pcos at the age of 16. I had fairly regular periods with like a 2-3 day delay. My last period was 11th-18th June. After that, i got diagnosed with gallstones so i had to take a 180 and change my diet. I, now, drink lots of water, eat sprouts everyday, papaya before bed and try to avoid oil.

Also, my boyfriend and i are sexually active but we always use condoms and there has been no slip or breakage, i am scared as to why i haven’t received my period yet. It’s very, very late. The last time we did it was 16th july.

to give some more context, i have been dealing with a lot of stress: masters admissions, my grandfather in the icu and a bunch of financial anxiety.

I have been experiencing dull ache on my right ovaries and sometimes i get very mild abdominal cramps which makes me feel like my period is here but it isn’t. I have also been doing the butterfly pose for the past 2 days but nothing works.

Has my cycle changed because i changed my lifestyle for the better? I know a lot of you would ask me to get a pregnancy test done but considering i live with my family, it’s a little difficult and risky. nonetheless, i will try it but would any of you have any insights to give me?

Yesterday i got to know that i have gallstones.

hello everyone, i am 22F and have been unknowingly enduring gallstones pain for almost a year. I always thought it was indigestion and gas but after my ultrasound yesterday, i got to know that i have been letting 3-4mm of multiple gallstones live inside me rent free.

The doctors i have referred to are suggesting getting a surgery since my gallstones are small and might go somewhere else, so it’s better to get a laser surgery. I don’t know how that will work so if anyone has any experience with this, please let me know.

There are also a lot of dietary restrictions on me and i don’t know how i feel about it, im only 22 and wished to eat all sorts of food, which i don’t see happening anymore. it makes me so depressed.

anyway, if you guys have any tips or any advices, please feel free to reply :)

how do i make a guy cum?

hello! i am F(22) and i have been with two men sexually so far. One of them was a long term boyfriend that i broke up with in 2024. I was never able to make that guy cum, even when i gave head, which led to me being extremely insecure of my ways. The only time he came was when i was kissing his neck and he was jerking off.

Now, onto the guy i am currently dating. Since it hasn’t even been a month, we have only had sex once where he didn’t cum but i did. I didn’t give him any head even though i plan to for the next time. I just feel so guilty for not being able to make the men im with cum, am i doing something wrong? Is head lowkey the only way a man cums?
