Strap change and somehow the entire watch changed. The right strap can really elevate a watch.

Small package arrived from Pearl shaving today. Firstly, I would like to praise the presentation from Pearl. Even just this handle, came in a plastic case, wrapped in cotton cloth. This is better packaging than many international brands I've received.This is the handle for Symmetry razor from PAA, made by Pearl. Chrome plating is good, very fine 2-3 spots at the bottom. Weighs 66-67gms, short and thick handle. Grip is good due to the hatch pattern knurling. Now we wait for the Yaqi sale for Yaqi heads to couple with this beautiful handle.

P.S. I enquired with Pearl, sadly they are not making the heads for Symmetry. If you like short, thick and medium heavy handles, do try this out. You won't be disappointed. Thank you everyone who helped and guided me with the handle.

We discuss a lot about Preshave and shave routines, but the post shave talk, seems to have taken a step back.

The shave was fantastic as you'd expect from R41 and paired with the RK Ultraman blade, it performed like a surgical tool. The blade is sharp and still pairs well with the razor and still leaves me with no irritation. Shannon's Pineapple Banana soap has a refreshing banana scent with a hint of pineapple, extremely welcoming for the summers.

I have a dryer than normal skin and have always taken great care of my post shave moisturization. I start with an alum, then Suthol, which is an antiseptic lotion that deals with any irritation and redness of skin, moving onto the toner, Dickinson's has been the standard and it just works, followed up by the after shave lotion and finally a touch of an after shave conditioner or a moisturizer.

I know it looks like a lot, but it does help a lot to keep my face moisturized after the shave for hours.
