If you don't know.... Now you know.

Grace makes Japanese Patterns too.

33.5" Steerhide Pro Japan Catcher's Mitt in Navy and Camel. Pink welting and Gold and Pink stitching with Tan laces. This 33.5" is massive and light. I'm in love.

𝑮𝓡𝓐𝑪𝓔 Customs

Had to share these beautiful Grace customs I had made for my son in his team colors. These two Threshers are made with Grace's new Steerhide. They have reduced padding in the thumb and pinky for youth, you wouldn't really know it, They both came Factory Stiff, and I'm talking old school HOH/A2K stiff. The blue has a suede like finish and I honestly thought They had mistakenly made these in Japanese Kip. Maxx #1 is almost done with the break in and Maxx #2 may be getting a dunk when I get home off Vacay. Couldn't be happier with these.

Grace 11.5" Pro Steerhide Custom (Youth fit)
Maxx #1 H-web
Black, Sky Blue, and Pink w/ Snakeskin accents and Black Split Welting.

Grace 11.5" Pro Steerhide Custom (Youth fit)
Maxx #2 I-Web
Navy, Yellow, Sky blue w/ Yellow Split welting and Wool Wrist.

Conditioner Shoot Out.

Hey all,

For the last several months I've been Re-lacing and Cleaning gloves and I wanted to give my thoughts of the different glove Conditioners I've tried. I'm still a novice so I'm keen to know what works for you all and the experience you've had with them. I'm most interested to hear about how they hold up long term I.E. how easily they clean/wear off, what kind of element protection they provide, how well they moisturize dry and damaged gloves etc.

I know someone is going to comment about Lexol, I plan on getting some, but I'd like someone to detail why the like it, how long it lasts, what it smells like etc. So here we go.

Water Based:
Sarna liquid/Creme - 4️⃣․6️⃣ out of 5️⃣

Pros: Makes the glove feel silky almost instantly, absorbs quickly, great to apply before steaming or breaking in a glove, great for laces. The best and quickest way to make a dry glove feel awesome.

Cons: Doesn't seem to last for more than a week, washes off with water and doesn't waterproof or protect the glove much. Smells Awful.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wax/Oil Based:

SSK conditioner - 4️⃣․5️⃣ out of 5️⃣

Pros: Got this free with an SSK glove, used it once and it
Pros: Smells great and seems to do a fine job moisturizing and protecting,

Cons: Seems to absorb quickly and wear off in a 3-7 days. Darkens leather, but not significantly.

Wilson Pro Stock Conditioner - 4️⃣․8️⃣ out of 5️⃣ 🥈

Pros: Smells Incredible, Easy to apply, adds some tack to the glove surface. Does an fantastic job moisturizing and protecting. Seems to last 3 weeks or more and it's Inexpensive.

Cons: Darkens leather for about a month or two,

Fortune Field (Made in Japan) 4 stages 4️⃣․6️⃣ out of 5️⃣

Cleaner - Smells really strong, but doesn't seems to clean much.

Creme - Moisturizes well, but doesn't protect on it's own, smells great too.

Oil - Only applied to the palm. Darkens pretty significantly, adds nice amount of tack to the palm, makes gloves squeak for a day or two, smells good and protects well. Lasts about a month, still going.

Wax - I use it on laces when lacing, it works excellent. Applied to the back of the glove and the hand stall, smells good, applies easily and leaves a matte finish, which I don't love, take a while to absorb and buffs well.

Ball Players Balm Pro Conditioner 4️⃣․6️⃣ out of 5️⃣

Pros: Protects and Softens quite well, comes in a large container, adds a little tack to the palm, buffs nicely and keeps the glove shiny. great protection against water and elements

Cons: Darkens leather, but color lightens up after a week*, S*tiffens the glove, creates a waxy look and feel a lot like the Fortune Field Wax. Not great at moisturizing compared to the others I have, and you have to use a decent amount, lasts about a week maybe two.

Note: The BPB cleaner is the best I've used, it's really really good. 10/10.

RenaPur 4️⃣․8️⃣ out of 5️⃣ 🥈

Pros.: Makes leather soft and supple and protects well against water and elements, absorbs well, smells great, doesn't leave gloves feeling Waxy, buffs well, Lasts 3+ weeks.

Cons: Darkens Leather, but lightens up after a week or two. Sometimes takes a few coats to evenly distribute and it's easy to over condition, can leave the glove feeling greasy if you don't buff or wipe it down.

Mizuno Sokamori All in one Cleaner (Made in Japan) 4️⃣․8️⃣ out of 5️⃣ 🥈

Pros: Smells VERY good like face cream. A little goes a long way, blends aspects of Oil based conditioners and water based. Absorbs quickly and leaves gloves shiny. This stuff completely revitalized a new dead stock A200 Carlos Correa CC1GM that was all dried out from sitting.

Cons: Darkens leather, the smell lasts a long time. Only sold for a reasonable price in Japan.

***Mizuno Strong Oil (***Made in Japan formula) 4️⃣․9️⃣ out of 5️⃣ 🥇

Pros: Smells great, come in a big tin, Doesn't darken as much as the other oil/wax based conditioners, excellent moisturizer and Protestant, leaves a gorgeous dull shine, adds a little tack to the palm.

Cons: Only sold in Japan, but even then it's only $4 plus shipping. Darkens leather a moderate amount, takes more to cover an area than other conditioners. Lasts a couple weeks. I have several of the Mizuno color oils on the way from japan, i'll follow up when I get a chance to use them

Walmart Switcheroo MegaThread

Hey, all. I know many folks ordered the Rawlings BH3 first baseman‘s mitt or 12.5” R2G and got something different. Here’s a thread to trade, sell, complain or vent. Please keep it classy. 😉

Hey Guys, Walmart sent me this instead of the BH3 first baseman's mitt I ordered. I know the price is higher in comparison to what they were just on sale for, so it's been priced lower than any correa out there. If you can find one lower I'll match it and i'm happy to make one of you fine fellows a great deal.
