I have some doubts how to set my 105
I started with a doublebell 021 /"modernized ak 103"/ that I modded the gearbox, changed butstock, got a zenitco rk3, a cyma dust cover with a rail and a holo sight. It didn't feel so much like an AK and was long so I decided to get an E&L ak 105. And here my dilemma with setting it up started. As much as I love zenitco I refused to buy the local zenitco long handguard and went with a MWI clone. Somewhat keeps it looking like an AK yet modernized and that was a very important. Next thing I did was to put the rk3 grip on it /I really hate stock AK grips/. I had a CYMA side rail adapter and some tube red dot which I fitted. Afterwards just for the lols I decided to put the railed cyma dust cover on the 105. It took so much modifying to get it to fit but I did. While it looked good I decided to stay with the side mount rail. I'm really looking for suggestions how to have it modernized enough, yet looking like an AK? Maybe a more adequate side-rail mount and a slimmer profile tube red dot? Was thinking for an angled grip or an RK6. Visual suggestions are more than welcome too!
