Working in Germany based on Major

Hello all, for an example, if I were to study my ms in data science in Germany, as an international student do I must find full time and part time jobs (while studying and after graduation) in same field or is it not required?

Thank you.

What went wrong in these trades?

Hi there. Looking for genuine trading advice. These are some trades which I took this week.

First 3 are based on chart pattern where I entered on breakout based on wedge pattern. Black bold line is 200 ema and light blue line is 9 ema. RSI too working as confluence.

4th one is asian-london overlap strategy where I draw fib during asia-london overlap and enter trade once it crosses above/below then closes back again inside the level (2 or -1) I enter the trade after candle closed below 9 ema.

Thank you.

Hi, I'm getting into trading especially scalping but also in intraday or swing trading. I have a question on stop loss placement in order to get better R:R and manage risk effectively. As you can see in each of these figures: first 2 are losses and other 2 are wins. FYI: the bold black line is 190 ema and blue line is 9 ema. I found bullish/bearish wedge & channel patterns. The other line which is drawn in direction of my trade is safety line. I heard that if price closes or breaks it we just exit the position. We can use it as trailing stop along with 9 ema.

As you can see in first 2 figures price broke safety line and it invalidated trade.

The 3rd figure perfectly respected the safety line (with wicks rejecting) and went into favor.

The 4th figure is weird it broke above safety line but still managed to hit my trade and went into favor.

Now the main question is - Should I put my SL just above safety line and keep it trailing OR put my SL at last high/low that lead to breakout of the pattern?

Here's some pro's con's I studies:

Safety line:

  • Pros: Manages risk well defined, better R:R, can exit trade earlier without holding into it more and making more loss.
  • Cons: Sometimes price can just be reactive and volatile and maybe close candle across safety line and in that case I'm just closing lots of positions with losses earlier and unnecessarily without waiting.

Stops at last high/low that lead breakout of pattern:

  • Pros: You are not exiting earlier and waiting for price to react and watch and hold and adjust position accordingly. Helps in volatile market.
  • Cons: R:R is not that great and risk of losing more due to fake outs.

Any advices will help a lot. Thank you.
