Need help building Combat Patrol Terrain

What's the best way to build the ruins? I'm looking to achieve all of the following:

* Makes building easier

* Makes painting faster

* Looks the best

* Gives me tactical advantage over my opponents

* Makes me roll more 6's than my opponents

Will GW publish terrain layouts for 1000 pt games?

I haven't seen anything lately regarding terrain layouts for smaller games. You would think that with a new edition, and many new players learning the game, that they would support smaller sized games.

Otherwise are there any community members making 1k maps?
