I don't see anything about this silicone part thats included in the extra materials, so what is it for? Thanks in advance!

I am having constant clogging errors even after switching to fresh nozzles and fully reinstalling filaments. I am about to try and disassemble the extruder to see if anything is odd inside. 2 things:

1. is there any specifics I should look for that would cause clogging issues even with a brand new clean nozzle?

2. I noticed the extruder head seems loose, maybe its normal but I dont recall this much play when I first got it. If its able to be tightened, how would I do it?
