WhatShouldIDo?

Hey everyone! I have a couple of options for jobs, and I am not sure what to do. I sort of have an idea of what I should do vs. what I want to do. But I want your guys' opinion. So my current job is overall great! I make about $17 an hour, which is the most I have made at a job so far (I'm 22 with a bachelor's degree). Plus it is fully remote; I can work however many hours I want, work whenever, wherever I want, and it is super easy. It is such a great job (especially because my dad and I have to share a car currently). But sometimes there are days my job doesn't give me work to do, so it is not the most stable job while I am trying to pay off my student loans and medical bills. But my mom made me put in an application to a job I don't want to do, and now I have an interview set up. I have no idea how much I would get paid, but not only would I be working A LOT and have no free time at all, I would hate the job. The job is to work as a secretary for a police department in my county. I've worked as a secretary before, and I hated it. Also, I said I would never do it again. It would be very stressful since I would be working in the police department. I really want to just cancel the interview and continue working my current job until I find a job in a field I actually want to do. But for the police job, I might get some benefits (BTW I am still on my mom's insurance for another 3 years), might get paid more (won't find out till I ask at the interview), and it might advance my career. So what should I do? Should I keep the job I like, which is not always stable, and wait to find a job in a field I want to do? Or should I go to the interview for the police department and maybe take that job? If you have any questions, comment!

What Should I Do?

Hey guys! I need help making a decision. Hi I am 22 (f) and I have a friend that is having a baby shower at the end of August. A part of me wants to go to support her and be there for her, but there are also a lot of other reasons for me not to go. Firstly, she was my best friend for 3 years but in the last 6 months we have barely been talking because of her being a bad friend. Also her baby shower is over 2 hours away from me, I have to use my dad’s car, and it’s a really short baby shower. Plus since our falling out I feel really awkward to be there and I’m still upset at her for everything that happened at the end of our friendship. If you guys want more details let me know. I don’t know what I should do. Should I go to my ex best friends baby shower or no? And if I don’t AITA?
